Primary Science Fun at imecofarm

At imecofarm we have a fun educational science tour. the tour will take you around the farm where we learn about biodiversity, sustainable living, and renewable energy.

We have many displays to see and understand, including wind turbines, rain water harvesting, energy crops, solar power and more..

Biodiversity:

Learn about plants, with fun tree identification, scavenger hunts, see the wildlife pond, insects, bugs, and frogs. See the butterfly tunnel. Learn about hardwoods, softwoods, fruit trees, grasses, lichens, ferns and more.. See the badger sett and how he cleans his bed every day, where they play at night.. See the wild birds, the salt marshlands and more...

sustainable Living:

Grow your Own food- polytunnel and allotments to see and understand growing fruit, veg and salads.

See the farm animals, how they are kept, and how to keep your own hens.

We can also cater for a particular school project, just contact us beforehand to arrange.
